Sony DSC-P52 Digital Camera

The Sony DSC-P52 Digital Camera has received several excellent reviews:

I have now owned this camera for approximately 4 months and I can say that I am more than pleased with it. The 3.2 megapixel resolution is more than able to be printed out at A4 size (obviously depending on printer quality), although taking a lot of shots at this resolution does take up a lot of space on the supplied 16Mb memory stick
The camera has a 2x optical zoom and a digital 'smart zoom' which gives extra zooming power when shooting at lower than maximum resolution.
The picture quality from this camera is very good from this camera and it has a good selection of shooting modes and also various settings that can be altered by the more knowledgeable user.
The camera is also able to be used for video capture although the quality of these is quite poor and memory is used up pretty quickly.
Transfer of stored photos/videos to the pc is quick and straightforward, just plug in the USB cable from camera to pc and everything is done for you and stored in the allocated folder.
The camera also comes supplied with leading photo enhancement software.     ciao.co.uk

This was our first purchase of a digital camera, and we have been very pleased with it. We bought the camera because of the wide range of features, the competitive price, and the Sony name (to which I'm admittedly partial). A big selling point was the fact that with the expanded memory stick (a separate purchase) you can shoot up to 90 minutes of video - nothing else on the market in this price range even compares to that!     Digital-Camera-Review.US
